Purpose of Role

The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead bpi’s expansion into the South West, prospecting for new clients and developing lasting relationships with businesses and centres of referrals. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, growing the client database and processing sales orders. Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Prospecting for new clients
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and appointments.
  • Networking and attendance at marketing functions
  • Generate Sales and Marketing information
  • Produce and follow up on quotations
  • Achieving sales targets

 

Key Attributes, Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience of selling in a Business to Business environment
  • Ability to build business relationships and rapport with customers and clients
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Self-motivated, driven and reliable
  • Clean driving licence and own car as the role will involve frequent travel within the South West

 

Desirable Attributes

  • Past experience of working within the education/training sector
  • Knowledge of the ACT! by Sage Contact Management system or similar systems
  • Competent with all Microsoft Office applications
